My step father loves to listen to his portable multi-band radio whereever he goes. Now that analog channels are no longer being broadcast, is there a multi-band that supports the HDTV broadcast for sound only. I am not looking for a portable TV, just sound.

Melissa – There is not a radio out there yet that picks up the audio on digital TV.
A way around this is to buy a cheap converter box at Walmart that has red/white audio outputs and then connect a computer speaker to that. Not very portable, but it would work.
